Christmas decor is abundant at 505 Imports, and the theme this year is Christmas Glamour!

Look for mirrored surfaces, glass icicles, glitzy jeweled picks, silver sparkle, French pots with stately white amaryllis, and rhinestone silver balls as well as red velvet ornaments. The variation on a classic theme of red and white is amazing when combined with silver or gold and lots of mirrored, sparkly surfaces. Also, look for the earthy and organic items to combine with the glitz. A rustic hand-carved canoe is suspended from the ceiling at 505 and holds tons of glittered rhinestone Christmas ornaments, showing the marriage of the rustic with the glamour. Come by and check out our exciting new Christmas items. They won't be around for long!!

A new rug rack at 505 Imports displays a huge collection of 2 x 3 sample rugs, from shags to soumaks. The rugs range from classic and traditional to funky and trendy with many beautiful transitional rugs in between. New collections that are featured include a clean-lines collection by Candice Olsen, a 100% natural hemp collection (for the eco-conscious), a Smithsonian collection, and many gorgeous wool rugs that are new and fresh in design.

Also, an amazing group of high-quality cow hides are displayed throughout the store: solid white, salt 'n pepper gray, brown and white, and a beautiful zebra stenciled brown and white hide. The cow hides bring a sense of rustic and exotic glamour to a room, and the quality of these Brazilian hides is superior to cow hides that are found elsewhere.

The owners of 505 Imports are working diligently to develop a reputation as an innovative, environmentally responsible furniture company. In the production of our beautiful furniture collections, we constantly seek to assess our impact on the environment, and the most practical way is to work "with" nature instead of "against" it by using reclaimed, recycled, and sustainably harvested wood. Our "nature-inspired" dining table is a huge chunk of reclaimed acacia wood that had a former life but now has become a natural, organic piece of furniture. An eco-friendly water-based sealant was used in the finishing process, and the result is a magnificent dining table that makes a huge eco-statement.
